I Live In A Conservation Area; Do I Need Planning Permission?

You should be able to construct a garden room without planning permission even if you live in a conservation area. The core issue with changes in a conservation area is if they’re visible from the front or side. As such, a garden room in your back garden shouldn’t be subject to these regulations. However, we recommend checking to be sure and talking to a relevant expert.
