Do I Need Planning Permission For A Garden Gym?

No, you don’t need planning permission to install a garden gym. So long as the structure is free-standing, you do not require planning permission of any kind. It’s always safer to check with your own local council, but you should never need permission for a free-standing building, so long as it is smaller than 30 metre squared (floor space) and isn’t used as accommodation.
